Very often we choose a sponge cake with layers of buttercream or any other filling which is a good idea, but if you want to try something else or if you just love cheesecakes, why not to turn your favourite treat into a perfect birthday cake. There are so many ways to decorate it and make it very special. Some time ago I couldn't even imagine that there are so many variations of cheesecakes. I'm going to try as many recipes as I can find and post the results and pictures here.

I can’t even say how much fun it was to work with caramel to decorate the cheesecake. That was the first time in my life I've decorated with sugar like this.
